After analyzing data, SCDOC determined that: "When using the LMTS equipment, a much lower number of students had to re-fire and there was a reduction in the number of times students had to re-fire. The proper use of LMTS products would significantly reduce costs.during basic weapons training. LMTS also creates a more effective and productive weapons training program by providing more hands-on training during scheduled classroom hours and during times of inclement weather." As a result of this data, SCDOC training experts: "Strongly recommend the use of LMTS in all of our various weapons training programs - Basic, In-Service, and Institutional Requalification."
